Welcome to my guide to great vintage shopping in Central North Carolina and Northern Illinois!

Why these two locations?
Well, I live in Central North Carolina, which is the state’s hot bed for great vintage, and I’m a native Illinoisian and still visit frequently. Both regions have some fabulous vintage shops that I’m excited to share with you.

What is Vintage?
My definition of vintage is just about any furniture, accessory, or art for the home that is second hand. From thrifted (second hand) to antique (anything over 100 years old). As long as it looks great or has potential to look great and is second hand, I’ll cover it.

Why I LOVE Vintage

How to Use this Guide
I share my own experience shopping, scouring, and scouting thrift stores, vintage, and antique shops in Central North Carolina and Northern Illinois. I share my favorite finds at these shops to give you an idea what you’ll find. Search by Region and town to find posts about shops I have visited and my favorite finds at these shops. This guide is for you if: you live in these two regions, plan to visit them, or just want some vintage shopping inspiration. There are still so many more vintage shops I have yet to visit, stay tuned!
